How it works

Design your canvas

Sketch your idea using a squared notebook, the grid pages at the back of the instructions booklet, or our custom-built app for inspiration. Arrange colorful blox on the baseplate to form your pixelated design.

Step 2
Roll your colour

Create an inkblock by rolling out the what we believe is the best for the job, and our personal favorite, Schmincke's premium Linoleum Inks on the included glass sheet using the top-tier Essdee roller.

Step 3
Make your prints

Lay your paper on the inked design, press firmly and slowly, and peel back to reveal your vibrant creation. Voilà! You've created a stunning digital-inspired, analog work of art.

Each kit comes with a baseplate, a set of colorful blocks, high-quality Schmincke inks, a professional-grade Essdee roller, and everything else you need to start printing right away.
Yes, the blocks and baseplate are completely reusable. Simply clean them after use, and you’re ready to start your next project.
Rinse and scrub them in the sink to remove excess ink. For a deeper clean, marinate them in warm water with vinegar or a bit of washing detergent before scrubbing.
Absolutely! While we include high-quality Schmincke inks, you can experiment with other water-based printing inks. Just avoid inks that dry too quickly, are too thick for rolling, or stick to plastic.
Yes! We plan to release expansion sets with new block shapes, sizes, and colors for even more creative possibilities.
inkBlox is designed for creators of all ages, but we recommend it for kids around 8-9 years old and up due to the dexterity required to handle the pieces and tools.
